Target Summer Beauty Bag

Guess what came today?? My Target Beauty Bag!!!
Every season Target has a beauty bag and I've gotten the Spring, and Summer bag.

The items included in the bag are:
Aveeno Living Color Shampoo and Conditioner
Revlon Lip Butter in Peach Parfait
Garnier Fructis Color Shield Shampoo and Conditioner
TRESemme Split Remedy Shampoo
Neutrogena UltraSheer Sunblock

Since this bag was free, I'm totally happy with it. I just wish there wasn't so many hair samples. But I was really happy about the sunblock because I needed some sunblock to go swimming. The spf 70 really worked and it didn't break my face out. I was glad to get the Lip Butter sample, but I didn't enjoy the color. It was much to glittery for me. Maybe I would use it for going out. But anywho, I love the bag and am already using it as an extra travel bag. I love getting these and can't wait for the Fall bag to come out.

Bath & Body Works Fine Fragrance Mist

I've been trying out my Bath and Body Works fragrance in Twilight Woods for a few weeks now and I love it. For a body mist it has really good staying power. I think I will probably switch to another scent though for a while because this scent seems really fall or winter themed to me.

For $14.00, you get a really decent amount of mist so it is definitely worth the price. Mine will last forever because I use a lot of different scents.

You can buy this in stores, or at the BBW online store here.

Here's a picture of my kitten and my fragrance! (:

NOTE: I received this product complimentary for testing from Influester, but my opinions are my own and I am not paid to say these things.

Cupcake Nails and Facebook

So today I got really bored and decided to look up some nail tutorials and stumbled upon a cupcake nail tutorial. I've seen these before but always thought they were too difficult. When it comes to a nail brush, I just can not control that thing. But I decided to try these nails because it looked really easy.

Here's the results!

I think they are SUPER cute. I'm really happy with how they came out. You all should go check out the girl's youtube I found the tutorial on. Her username is cutepolish. She has a bunch of videos that show exactly how to do it and it makes it seem really easy. I will probably try some more nail tutorials of hers.

I also wanted to note that Perfectly Pigmented now has it's own Facebook! You can check it out then like it here!

June Birchbox

Ahh, finally a box I actually WANT to post about. This BB was awesome for me this month. Well partially because I'm trading one of my items. (:

Eyeko Skinny Liquid Liner

I love love love this liner. It's super black, and goes on REALLY well. I've tried many different liquid liners in a marker form and none of them really work out, which sucks because the normal liquid liners are such a pain to apply. This liner has awesome staying power, and makes a wonderful clean line.

And a bonus, it's only $15.00! This is my new HG eyeliner.

Melvita Floral Water

This is the item I have traded in my box. I'm not really sure what floral water really is.. On the BB website, it says that it refreshes and soothes skin. I realllly wanted the Stila One-Step Bronzer, but I didn't get it in my box. So I went to the trade forum on MakeupTalk and found someone to trade my floral water for bronzer which I'm waiting to get! I'm really excited to get it. Anyways, I didn't really have a use for this product and I have no opinion on it.

Full Size- $22.00

theBalm Stainiac in Beauty Queen

Again, another product that I love! It's supposed to be for your cheeks or lips, but I don't think I will ever use it for a cheek tint. It looks awesome on my lips, especially when it's layered on.

Terrible picture quality, but whatever. It looks awesome. I would definitely recommend this stain for anyone. It's gorgeous!

Full Size- $17.00

Yu-Be Moisturizing Skin Cream

First off, this was a tiny sample. Seriously. It doesn't seem that small, but it is. NOT a deluxe sized sample. But anyway, I didn't even really like it. It could be moisturizing, but the smell puts me off. It smells like Vicks. What kind of skin cream would want to smell like that? Not my favorite thing, but I'll use it because it's such a small amount.

Full Size- $16.00

Cynthia Rowley Band-Aids

I actually really like these Band-Aids. They're super cute so you can look chic, even with a cut! I will definitely be using these on the next cut I get!

The set on BB comes with Neosporin and a fabric pouch that sells for $11.00. But I also hear you can get just the Band-Aids at CVS for around $3.00. Much more affordable.

John Varvatos Star U.S.A. Cologne

I was a little peeved at the idea of this for a while, and I'm still not the happiest about it. This is a men's sample of cologne that they put in our boxes for Father's Day. What that actually means is buy our men's subscription. It's a little annoying because my boyfriend only likes certain things, especially with cologne. He knows what cologne he loves and that's all he buys. I had to beg him to just try it on one time. It smells awesome, but it was a disappointment to see these go out in the women's subscriptions.

1.7 Oz- $55.00 3.4 Oz- $70.00

This box was a total win for me. It didn't contain the $36 Stila Bronzer, but I still get to trade for it and had 3 other items that I loved. I'm really happy that Birchbox stepped it up this month especially with the Dr. Jart mishap last month. I will be staying at least until next month, as they are doing a collab box with Glamour Magazine, so that should be interesting.

Sircle Samples Update

So I just realized that I haven't posted anything I've gotten from Sircle Samples!

The first thing I received was the nail grab bag, which has Essie Set in Stones inside, which I forgot to take a picture of. -.- Anywho...

Napoleon Perdis Lip Glosses

Strawberry

Pineapple

I really enjoyed these. They were a bit sticky but I got used to it pretty fast. Strawberry is a really nice color on my lips, and Pineapple doesn't really do anything but give a little shine. They both smell AWESOME!

Glamour Doll Eyes Eyeshadow- Chocoholic

The owner of this company is actually on the MakeupTalk forums, which I'm on daily. So I think that's kind of neat that I know who makes these shadows. Anyways, I got the color Chocoholic which I LOVE! It's a beautiful dark brown with just the right amount of shimmer. This color will go really great with a lot of looks. I'm really excited to have received this. I will probably purchase more colors from GDE soon.

Lila Grace Lotion- Fresh Lilac

I did NOT like the smell of this. I'm not a big flowery person though. I tend to lean towards more fruity scents. I didn't even try the lotion because I didn't want the smell on me. I just gave it away. But whatever, it was free!

RAW Color Brush Set

So this set came with a concealer brush, a foundation brush, and a travel brush. The travel brush is crap. It's plastic with cheap synthetic bristles. Oh well. The foundation brush.... is freaking amazing. I was honestly not expecting such a nice brush. I've been reaching for this every time I do my foundation. I REALLY like it. I honestly haven't tried the concealer brush because I use my Sigma F75 for that. But the bristles are really soft and it feels like a nice brush. I think I remember someone saying that they saw this same set selling for $40 somewhere. Which is pretty awesome!

Apothederm Moisturizing Cream

Ever since I received this I have been using it as my go to moisturizer every day. I really like the way it makes my face feel. It gives me enough moisture but doesn't leave my face greasy like most moisturizers do. I have a normal-oily complexion so I have problems finding a good moisturizer. Also, this was an AWESOME sample size. It's .5 oz. I've been using it for a while now and you can barely tell I've made a dent in it. I will probably purchase this IF I ever finish the sample.

That's all I've gotten so far. I should have a lip gloss sample on the way, but I ordered it a while ago. So I'm not sure whats up with that. But I really enjoy this site and they have given me some pretty awesome stuff for free. If you would like to sign up, click here.

What all have you gotten from SircleSamples?

Sally Hansen Salon Effects

As you may remember, I received the Sally Hansen Salon Effects nail strips in my Spring Beauty Voxbox from Influenster. I tested out the strips, and I like them pretty well.

After a week and a half of wear.

This product was really easy to put on, and I actually only used half of the package because I had recently cut my nails short. The strips are quite long, so longer nails might be able to get two uses after the package too. There was a little bit of chipping, but not too much. I also did not use a top coat with this. I also made the mistake of washing dishes immediately after I put the strips on. But as you can see, it didn't hurt the strips too much.

I would have to say that I would definitely use these again, but only on special occasions. If I only got one use out of these, I would not purchase them. I don't think it's worth $9.99 to get one use. But there are some really neat patterns that would be harder to do on your own that I think would be really neat to try. I would probably go get a manicure instead of these. But for those of you that don't have the time, this is definitely for you!

NOTE: I received this product complimentary for testing from Influester, but my opinions are my own and I am not paid to say these things.

Sheer Cover Review

As you know, I received a sample of Sheer Cover Duo Concealer a couple weeks ago in my Spring Beauty Voxbox from Influenster. Since then I have tried this product a few times and I absolutely LOVE it. It comes with two shades which you can mix to match it to your skin color. There are four different ones you can get, and mine is in the light shade.

I've been using the light color of concealer under my eyes, and the dark shade over my blemishes. I didn't really have to mix the colors at all but I really like the way that the darker color covers my all my red spots. I think with a good primer this could last all day. I probably won't buy more after I run out of this though, but only because it is part of a makeup kit that is a subscription kit. I already have other things that are in the kit and don't feel like spending the money just to get that concealer.

If you want to buy the makeup kit the concealer is in, you can buy it at http://www.sheercover.com for $29.95 for a 30-Day Starter Kit.

NOTE: I received this product complimentary for testing from Influester, but my opinions are my own and I am not paid to say these things.

May Birchbox!

The Gossip Girl Birchbox is here! Yay!--- NOT. This BB really sucked to me. I had very bad box envy with this box. They hyped it up wayyyy too much. I think there was way to many variations in prices and full size items.

Color Club Foil Collection- Disco Nap

I don't really know what to think about this color. Do I think it's gorgeous? Yes. Would I wear it on my nails for long periods of time? Probably not. I don't know what it is about this color but there is something that just pushes me away from it. I think it has something to do with the color gold. I just don't see gold as a color to put on my nails.Maybe I'll use this for a special occasion or something. I don't know.

Full Size- $8.00

Dr. Jart+ Water Fuse BB Cream

Honestly, this was the thing I was most excited for in my BB and it turned out to be the worst thing in there. Why? Because there was a dot that came out. One teeny weeny dot. Not even enough to try on my face. So I emailed Birchbox. It took them at least a week to reply, and they said they would send a replacement. Two weeks goes by, still no replacement in the mail. So I email again. Got a reply today saying that my order was never put in and they will have it sent and they credited me 50 points. To be honest, I feel like I'm going to get another tube with nothing in it. Which really upsets me because this was the only thing that was worth anything really in my box. But I will let you know how this stuff is when I finally receive a replacement, that is if there is enough to use it.

Full Size- $32.00

beautyblender blendercleanser

I'm okay with getting this product because it can be used on brushes, and right now I am using some leftover Herbal Essence shampoo for my brushes. So I am kind of excited to try something new on my brushes. But I think it's kind of stupid that they send these out to people that don't even have the beautyblender honestly. When I look at this it makes me want to buy the beautyblender, but I won't because I love my Sigma brushes.

Full Size- $17.50

Arquiste L'Etrog

To be honest, I don't even think I smelled this perfume yet. I could have but I don't remember the smell of it at all. But I do know that of 3 months of BB I've gotten a perfume sample in every single one. Which is really annoying to me because I can test perfumes at the store. I don't really need to be getting all these damn perfume samples that I don't use much of. I really liked the Wonderstruck, but for that tiny little amount I don't really think it should be called a sample.

Full Size- $165.00

I also received a STUPID card that I will probably NEVER use. And a Twistband headband which would have been pictured but I lost it before I actually got to taking pictures. But neither things are worth a picture anyway.

This BB really sucked to me. Other people got full sized Stila liners and Dior samples so I was not very pleased, and that my "big" item was not even usable. I should be getting my June box soon (hopefully), and will be staying for July because of the collab with Glamour. But if both of those boxes suck for me I will definitely be cancelling. I really wanted to love BB but they are really sucking in my book right now. Maybe I can get my boyfriend to spend an extra $11 and get my a GlossyBox. (: One can only hope!

If you want to sign up for BB feel free to use my referral code here.

May The Look Bag

So I'm not even signed up with The Look Bag anymore, but I guess they decided to send people bags to get them interested in coming back? I'm not sure, but it was a pretty awesome bag.

Kelly Teegarden Organics Tightening Serum

I haven't tried this yet, but I don't really have a desire to. I have never heard of the brand, and it kind of irks me that I have no information about it. The Look Bag never gives me any information on anything I get. But back to the product. Mine came with something on the outside and it just kind of looked gross to me. I probably won't be using this product.

Naked Princess Naked Shine Lip Gloss

I actually really liked these lip glosses. They smell great, have a nice formula, and just a tiny hint of color. I don't usually wear a lot of lip colors, so the small amount of color really is nice for me.

Barely Blush

Barely Coco

Barely Coral

Barely Nude

I might consider buying these. Well, that is if they're not obnoxiously priced. But I wouldn't know... I didn't get any price info either...

The New Black Polishes

Another brand I have never heard of. The formula is kind of thick. I liked them, but they did not really spread out evenly. I already have a color almost exactly like the blue, but I don't have a yellow like this yet.

Electrical Banana

Midnight Blue
Sorry for the messy fingers!

L'Oreal Paris Wear Infinite Eyeshadow in Sweet Chemise

I'm torn with this item. It is a really nice eyeshadow for a drugstore brand. I really like it as a highlight color. BUT this is apparently a discontinued item. I have no clue why they would send out items that you can't even buy anymore. So all in all, I like the item, but I can't even buy it if I run out. I'm disappointed in that.

Erno Laszlo Packets

I have seen these packets in another subscription, I can't remember what one though. I haven't actually used any of these yet but I will. I think it's also an awesome item because it's not just one little packet. You get to try a lot of their products. Definitely beats one measly packet.

I actually enjoyed receiving this bag, mainly because my BB sucked this month. But I definitely am not going to go back to this service. I think it's ridiculous that they would try to get customers back by sending them a free back that has a discontinued item in it. I also had plenty problems with them when I cancelled and do not want to deal with that again.

Are any of you still subscribed to The Look Bag? If so, will you be keeping it?
