April Birchbox!

Yesterday I received my April Birchbox.

 It wasn't terrible but wasn't my first choice. Much better than last month that's for sure!

The items I received were:

Alima Pure Lipbalm

This balm is tinted, and is pretty creamy. It's minty, but there's also some other smell that I don't really like. It's bearable though. The color I got was Rhubarb, and I actually like the color.

It looks really nice and naturally on my lips.

J. R. Watkins Hand and Cuticle Salve

This salve is really nice. It's a little bit on the oily side, but it's very moisturizing. The smell is also very great.
The full size is $7.99.

Jurlique Moisture Replenishing Day Cream

I haven't used this yet but it smells really nice. It says it is infused with Rosehip and Avacado oils, which is really nice! I'm actually really excited to give this a try and will be updating with a review sometime soon!
The full size is $40. A little pricey for me!

Wonderstruck Perfume

So I've heard everyone rave about Wonderstruck, but I figured it would just be another perfume. I LOVE this smell. It smells so delicious. I think this is my favorite perfume. I plan on purchasing this when with my BB points!

dropps Laundry Detergent

When I first heard I would be getting laundry detergent, I was very blah about it. I'm allergic to detergent with scents in it. I was really shocked when I saw that my packets were scent and dye free! I will be using these soon and will put a review up on them!
The 20 pack is $6.

Like I said earlier, this wasn't the best Birchbox, but I will use all the items I received so I'm happy about that. Next month is a Gossip Girl themed bus, which is AWESOME! I love Gossip Girl, and seriously cannot wait for next months box.

Lady Strawberry Soap

In my past post about my March LookBag I talked about receiving a bar of Lady Strawberry's Goat's Milk and Oatmeal soap. Although the smell wasn't to die for, I loved how it exfoliated my skin. I wasn't really thinking about the oatmeal and whatever else is in the top being able to exfoliate, but it was honestly awesome. Plus I feel like the goat's milk made my skin really soft and moisturized. The soap is actually sold on an Etsy shop, but they don't even have that kind of soap... Soooo, I'm not sure how much it is, or how to even buy it which is kind of disappointing to me.

Sircle Samples

There is a new sample type website that everyone should know about! It's called Sircle Samples. But unlike most of the sample subscriptions, this one is absolutely free! I'm not too positive if we will actually get the samples that have been ordered, but if not it didn't cost anything!


For this site, you fill out different things to get points and what not. The site is fairly new so there are a lot of kinks that will hopefully be worked out soon.


I've already ordered two samples. One is a Glam Grab Nail Bag, which is supposedly 1-2 nail products that are worth $10, the other is Napoleon Perdis Lip Gloss which is worth $7 I think, so it will definitely be a sample size. They have different things on there it seems like everyday.

Honestly, the only reason I signed up for TheLookBag was because I was on the BB wait list and wasn't sure if when I would be getting off of it. So I joined, and this month wasn't too bad.

Frownies Facial Patches

I'm not excited about this. I'm 18, and have no wrinkles.I wish their beauty profiles would have caught this! So this went straight to my mom!

Cattiva Nude Lip Liner

This also went straight to my mom. But that's only because I'm not a fan of nude lips. I'm more of a bright lips person. Plus it was a bit dark for my skin tone. But it was a really generous sample, because it was full sized. (;

Rose Hips Black Soap

I actually haven't tried this out yet, but I've heard it feels really nice on your face. I find that it's a little odd that it's black. But the weird things normally turn out to work best!

Chicstix Shave Stick

This is actually one of my favorite things about this bag. It smells DELICIOUS! It's mango scented. I haven't used it yet, but I can't wait to!

Lady Strawberry Mirror Skin Soap

I'm not sure if I will ever use this or not. I'm all for organic skincare, but I'm not really big on bar soaps. It's also not the best smelling. But I will probably at least try it.

This bag wasn't really a big hit for me, and I cancelled my service. Mostly because I was just waiting to get off the Birchbox wait list to get this, so it was kind of a "filler" for me. Hah.
